Q. Portraits - Can I bring my pets?
A. Yes. Pets are welcome as part of a family portrait, or as a seperate portrait. From time to time we run pet portrait competitions.
Q. Portraits - Will it cost more for a family portrait?
A. No. As long as we can accomodate everyone in the studio it doesn't matter how many people are in the photo, it is the same price.
Q. Portraits - Can I ibring my own props?
Yes. We would encourage you to do so as this makes for a more personal finished image. It may be a child's favourite toy, or special gift. It maybe your favourite clothes. It doesn't matter as long as it means something to you. We do have some props at the studio which you are very welcome to use during your session.
Q. Portraits - Can I bring a change of clothes?
A. Yes. You can bring several changes of clothing.
Q. Portraits - What should I wear?
A. This will depend on whether it is just of yourself or a group portrait. For individual portraits it doesn't matter so much - clothes that you are happy with. For group portraits it is better if the colours are similar, not the same - though they can be. Try to avoid to many paterns and clothes with logos. This will make for a better enlargement.
Q. Portraits - How long does the studio session last?
Each session lasts about one hour. You can book longer sessions though this wouldn't be part of any promotion which maybe running.
Q. Portraits - Can I have a studio session of just me?
A. Yes. It doesn't matter if the session is for yourself or a group portrait session.
Q. Portraits - Do you come to the home?
A. Yes. Though you will need to keep in mind the amount of room you have. If it is too cramped we may not be able to do justice to the images. We bring our mobile studio, backdrop and lights.
Q. Portraits - Do you do location shoots?
A. Yes. These need to be booked with a little more notice -Normally at least a week.
Q. Weddings - How do I book our wedding?
A. Once you have seen our work and discussed with us your plans for the day, you will need to make a deposit of 25% to secure your date. This also guaranties the price so that there are no nasty surprises - the price we quote for your wedding at the time your deposit is paid is the price you pay.
Q. Weddings - How long should we allow for the photographs?
A. The photography needs to be planned into your day. We work as quickly as possible so as not to cause any huge disruption. How long we take depends on the type of wedding; we are working to make your wedding images as personal as possible to you, its your wedding album. This is one of the things that we will need to discuss with you.
Q. Weddings - How many pictures do you take?
A. We don't put a limit on the amount of images we take. There will be a limit on the images in your album as too many will look cramped, but this is to do with the design and layout of your album.
Q. Weddings - Do we pay extra for two photographers?
A. No. We are a family business who's main concern is providing you with the images you are going to be proud of for years to come.
Q. Weddings - Do you come to the home?
A. Yes. Some of the packages include coverage of the Bride readying herself for your wedding. This can include images of hair and make-up to putting on the wedding dress..
Q. Weddings - Can we have a disc to print from?
A. No. We can supply a disc of either all the images taken of your wedding, or selected images. These will be of a resolution appropriate for displaying on a computer/ TV or for sending images to friends and family aboad by E-mail. The quality of low resolution images will not be appropriate for printing. Why do we do this? All our cameras, computers and printing facilities are carefully calibrated to provide the highest quality, The materials we use are the best on the market, and all to provide you with images you will be proud to show off. We guard our reputation jealously.
Q. Weddings - What happens if the weather is bad?
A. As experienced photographers we are capable of coping with advers weather conditions. We also have studio lights that we can bring along to make shooting indoors more flexible.
Q. Weddings - Do you cover weddings abroad?
A. Yes, we travel all over the World for commisions. Usually Europe and America are the most popular places we are invited to cover weddings. Obviously this will be reflected in the price, and we will need to discuss thedeatails with you.
Q. General - Can I buy vouchers / gift vouchers?
A. Yes. This is a great way of giving a special gift to someone.
Q. General - Can I pay weekly?
A. Yes. You can pay what you can afford untill the full amount is covered. This is a great way of affording a really great framed print that you want. (This does not apply to commercial and industrial commisions).
